THE PROCESS SPECIALIST IT

The role focuses on acting as advisor or specialist for setting up, managing, implementing and improving global processes and the effective use of the processes, based on specialist knowledge of processes. The Process Specialist IT also focusses on the independent design and support of one or multiple processes and advises on the best possible solution in corresponding tooling to support the processes and the use of processes (best organizational fit). The Process Specialist IT works in a high-performance team working towards a group shared goal.

THE DEPARTMENT:

IT Services & Automation is a department within IT Continuity
Automation of standard manual tasks and proceedings;

ITSM Tool Services:

Technical and functional support and development of IT Service Management Tooling for the EU and global Organization;
Global Process Support:
Standardization of processes and tooling via process management and related activities, tool diagnostic;
Improving the quality of processes and meet regulatory requirements.

YOUR PROFILE:

The Process Specialist IT is responsible for the realization of goals regarding process quality, costs and result. Internal and external contacts are aimed at creating the right atmosphere and agreement situations in order to create commitment and support to the intended process changes. It may also involve convincing, inspiring, developing and motivating internal and/or external parties involved. Effective action is undertaking for politically sensitive situations. The Process Specialist IT liaise with Process Owner, Operational Owner, Tool Owner, Service Owner and Quality Assurance among others to improve the support and execution of the global processes.
The Process Specialist IT has the professional freedom to translate the formulated policy frameworks into consequences for the IT processes or service provision by, for example, contributing to the development and formulation of a vision on the IT service provision. The Process Specialist IT acts as a discussion partner for senior management and is a recognized expert in the professional discipline- process- and policy area.

THE PROCESS SPECIALIST IT:

Realizes and contributes to standardized process solutions and process in tooling to support the processes
Design and implements IT processes and procedures to create a common way of working
Performs support and improvement tasks to one or more processes
Acts as a specialist and advisor for IT Process issues
Advises the management and/or employees on the execution of the policy and processes

The Senior The Process Specialist IT must have te following additional capabilities:

Give direction on process development to maximize the support of an AGILE Organization
Follow external process development, translate them into process solutions, standards and/or guidelines
Give management insight on the process consequences of strategical and tactical IT decisions
Create and maintain a Process Governance Structure with Global Operational Owners to gather user requirements and maximize the acceptance and execution of processes on global level
Act as sparring partner for senior management regarding process development

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

HBO Bachelor or WO
5 to 10 years of experience in the IT field
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and Dutch
ITIL experience
Capability Maturity Model (CMM) or Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) experience
SCRUM/AGILE experience
LEAN experience
Service Management experience
Tactical level
