For our client, an inter-governmental organisation located in Luxembourg we are looking for a Testing/Quality Assurance Engineer.

A position has become available for a Testing/Quality Assurance Engineer with Client in Luxembourg. Offering a competitive daily salary, the Contractor will be working within an IT Development Team which is dedicated to NDSS Software.

The NDSS is an automated and integrated logistics software support tool designed, developed and supported by Our Client. It covers the main logistic functions such as item identification, supply, maintenance and property accounting.

The application software is written in PowerBuilder and Microsoft .NET framework and implemented in a Client Server environment. The NDSS is installed at over 60 individual sites.

MISSION:
Within the IT development and testing teams dedicated to NDSS Application, the Testing/Quality Assurance Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Development of Integration and User Acceptance test plans based on requirements, specifications and test strategies
- Report on test activity
- Review/update software and Quality Assurance documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, completeness to mitigate risks
- Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability, bugs and functionality
- Improve performance and work on the NDSS integration with the MS SQL server, SAP, NAFS including test planning, test cases and UAT
- Liaising closely with managers, business analysts and developers to ensure system integration

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Knowledge C#, SQL, ASP. NET, Powerbuilder and MS Transact SQL
- Proficient in Microsoft Servers (2008 R2, SQL 2005 and 2008)
- IBM Rational Robot, QTP (Quick Test Pro), Quality Centre, Visual Studio Test professional 2010, Bug Tracker and TFS 2010/2012
- Software development methodology/life cycle
- Agile environment
- Front End interfaces using PowerBuilder 11
- Enterprise Architect
- Test methodology

EXPERIENCE:

- Processing a broad range of technical background in the area of IT/IS infrastructure and applications, development skills gained through establishing full IT projects.
- Knowledge of risk based testing and Exposure to environment preparation
- Experience of testing tools and techniques (Manual and Automatic)
- Analytical, structured approach to problem analysis and problem solving
- A previous experience of minimum 3 months with NDSS software is mandatory.
