Tester - the Hague (NL)

For one of the European Institutions based in The Hague, we are currently looking for a Tester.

TASKS:

Produce and review test scenarios and (automated) scripts.

Build and/or verify test environments.

Define test plans and test cases

Test software deliverables with testing software such as eg HP Quality Centre/HP Quick Test Prof HP Functional Test, or equivalent

Investigate and replicate issues

Contribute to improvements of the test process.

Elaborate of test programs.

Prepare monthly patch management report assessing impact of patches to underlying systems on the applications

Monitor successful implementation of patches

PROFILE:

University Degree in IT or relevant subject

At least 5 years of proven experience as a tester, preferably holding a certificate in software testing & having experience with Test Driven Development and scenarios.

Excellent knowledge of patch management in Windows environment

Excellent knowledge of Quality Assurance in Windows environment

Excellent knowledge of Quick Test Pro and HP Quality Centre

ITIL certified and/or Prince 2 certified

Fluency in English
