Title: Tester/Testing Advocate - Senior

Pay Rate: DOE

Location: Johns Creek, GA

Our client located in Johns Creek, GA is seeking a self-motivated Tester/Testing Advocate for an exciting opportunity. As a Tester/Testing Advocate you will be responsible for creating/reviewing/executing test cases during functional/system/integration testing.

THE CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS:

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- The ability to work independently with limited direction
- The ability to adapt to a wide variety of situations
- Demonstrated experience in multiple test techniques
- Ability to convert Business and System requirements into positive and negative test cases
- Will analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test cases/scripts
- Will write detailed defect reports and work with developers and other project team members to resolution

TECHNICAL SKILL SET NEEDED:

- 3 to 4 years' experience in testing
- Experience writing test cases, creating bug reports, executing and tracking testing assignments
- Experience in data validation and cross-system testing
- Experience in Mainframe and Client Server testing
- Experience in testing in batch and interactive Mainframe environments
- Understanding of retail concepts a plus

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

- Have Led Testing Teams
- Experience with EDI Testing
- Experience with Mainframe Testing (CICS)
- Experience with Manual as well as Automated Testing
- Additional Instructions: 2-3 years of EDI Knowledge
