Tester for Multinational Client in Stockholm/Sweden

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A TESTER TO WORK AT OUR MULTINATIONAL CLIENT IN STOCKHOLM/SWEDEN.

Expected tasks and deliverables by the Consultant

- Deploy and test (mainly Sharepoint) applications and patches in a testing environment.
- Prepare test plans and conduct testing and debugging to proactively identify bugs in application code during the construction phase as well as the validation and integration phase of the software development life cycle including the use of automated testing tools
- Independently work on troubleshooting issues into ICT integration test environment, related to the applications under test
- Work with Active Directory and MS Exchange and MS SQL Server
- Create test cases based on use cases provided
- Create test scripts
- Register and track issues using Team Foundation Server
- Provide reports about the tests conducted
- Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of a test environment for integrated testing of applications
- Support the integration of new systems into the existing environment

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE

- University degree with minimum 3 years of experience in IT;
- Minimum 2 years of information Systems testing experience;
- Strong experience with MS SQL Server, MS SharePoint, Active Directory and MS Exchange
- Strong experience with Team Foundation Server
- Experience with agile software development (for instance, Scrum) or other iterative development processes (for instance, RUP);
- Proficiency in Unified Modelling Language (UML);
- Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming (OOP);
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, technologies and tools;

EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING SKILLS IS ADVANTAGEOUS:

- Certifications in the field of software quality assurance is advantageous
- Visual Studio
- Visual Studio Team System Testing Tools
