Test Technician

The candidate in this contract position will be working in a validation team executing tests against a storage product targeted for the server market. The test environment the candidate will be using is a Linux platform as the device under test. The candidate will be expected to reconfigure hardware (be able to swap out processors, chipset, bios), track and collect test failures, and assist in debug activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Setting up test benches for running tests to validate microserver products
- Debug setup issues
- Test execution
- Working with the engineering team to debug and reproduce issues
- Maintaining the execution systems including updating chips on test platforms, upgrading BIOS as needed, and detailed data collection and test tracking

REQUIREMENTS:

- Good knowledge of Linux OS
- Skills for debugging setup issues
- Ability to build a server/PC system from scratch
- Must be detailed oriented to track test results and articulate issues

- MD RAID configuration,
- SAS Expander topologies
- Protocol analyzers
