Test Team Lead/Manager - TFS, Visual Studio Test Edition - Federal Gov

One of the largest Federal Government departments is seeking an experienced TEST TEAM LEAD/MANAGER to play an integral role in their testing team. This is a rare 12 month contract with the view to extend a further 12 months.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING; 

- Working with the successful vendor, define a test approach and test plan that will adequately test a vendor delivered product against agreed specifications.
- Test integration between vendor delivered applications and artefacts.
- Plan and co-ordinate a larger testing team to deliver against the test plan in specified time and cost.
- Transfer skills, provide documentation and exchange information on all relevant aspects of testing, including, but not limited, to training users and support staff in the use of in-house applications.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA;

- At least 5 years demonstrated ability in the testing of Microsoft based applications
- Extensive experience in leading a testing team, setting testing approaches and frameworks within broader ICT Strategies
- Extensive experience in working with and testing integrated solutions delivered by external vendors
- Experience working with Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio Test Edition
- Experience in creation of repeatable performance, security and UI tests
