Huxley Associates is currently working with a leading financial organisation based in the central belt of Scotland in the recruitment of a Test Team Lead. My client is looking for a test team lead to work within their middle office; this particular team is currently expanding to support an ongoing programme and service improvement. As well as this the middle office is building a solution to support a global operating model.

In order to assist this expansion my client is looking for a test team lead to support the development work of this application, the right candidate must have solid test automation experience and be able to test strategy and plans for manual and automated testing approaches. Experience of the full test strategy is essential and of co-ordinating onshore and offshore teams within an agile environment.

This position will allow the candidate to step into a very client facing role; working closely with various areas of business, from BA's to developers therefore being passionate about delivery is essential. The right candidate will have designed both manual and automated testing approaches for data centric projects and have outlined requirements and test environments. The candidate will take tasks on in a logical manner, be proactive and have a pragmatic approach to problem solving.

The successful candidate will have commercial experience in:

Investment Banking

Use of Selenium and QTP test tools

Leading SIT & UAT test teams

Creating test Scripts that interact with SQL Server & Oracle

Test approach for data management, automation frameworks and tool selection

Defect management and reporting
