Rate: Circa £35.00 per hour

The Company:

A leading aerospace client, dealing in the design, development and manufacture of electronic control systems for aero gas turbine engines.

The Role:

Our client is looking to recruit a number of test rig transformation engineers to improve and manage the calibration, maintenance and spares strategies within the mechanical test team.

The test rig transformation engineers will plan and implement policies and procedures relating to the maintenance, and calibration of the test rigs to ensure consistency throughout the test department. They will also be responsible for ensuring spare levels are identified and monitored to ensure correct availability at all times. As part of the test team, they test rig transformation engineers may also be involved in providing health and safety awareness within the team and minimising risk within the department as required.

The Candidate:

Ideally you will have a background in calibration and maintenance ideally within a mechanical test environment. You should have demonstrable experience of working with and creating maintenance, calibration and spares strategy, and implementing any changes into a manufacturing or test environment.

An understanding of Health and Safety procedures would be preferred but is not essential for the role.
