WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A TEST MANAGER & TEST ENGINEER FOR DEFECT FIXING WITHIN THE CLIENT TAX SECTOR.

Test Manager

- Plans, controls and coordinates the entire test process within his/her area of responsibility.
- Defines the test strategy in line with the company Test Standard, ensures its implementation and evaluates the test results in order to give a recommendation to the project manager who decides on further steps.
- Organizes the test teams (internal and external) and represents these as the single point of contact for the client.
- Conducts "Lessons Learned" meetings, gathers "Best Practice" examples and contributes to the process improvement.

Test Engineer

- Implements the operational test strategy in line with the company Test Standards. The Test Engineer designs and executes all assigned tests, creates test logs and defect records according to the result.
- Supports the Test Manager in the planning and evaluation of testing activities and participates in lessons learned.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Test Manager is responsible for

- that all test activities are compliant with the company Test Standard and  Policies
- ensuring the testability of the test basis 
- ensuring that all exit criteria for a test phase are met
- ensuring the implementation of the defined and approved test strategy
- planning, allocating and monitoring all test efforts
- timely delivery of all contracted test deliverables as defined in the test schedule and for ensuring their quality as defined in the test plan
- early escalation according to the escalation path
- ensuring all defects are recorded and retested
- ensuring proper communication according to the stakeholder involvement plan
- ensuring traceability from test cases to requirements and from deviation records to test cases

Test Engineer is responsible for

- an early escalation of problems to the Test Manager
- ensuring all assigned activities are conducted according to the testing standards
- timely delivery of the assigned activities and deliverables as defined in the schedule and for producing them in the required quality (as defined in the test plan)
- ensuring all assigned activities are reported regularly

MANDATORY EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Degree from university/university of applied sciences, appropriate training or professional experience
- Deep experience in testing and test management
- ISTQB certification "Certified Tester" Foundation or Advanced level
- Proven record in test management and test design of user acceptance tests
- Experience in banking industry: well understanding of financial instruments, good knowledge of securities, single accounts, FX and forward contract transactions processing incl. corporate actions
- Practical experience with Quality Center or comparable tools
- Excellent organization/coordination skills
- Good communication skills

BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE:

- well banking-knowhow about tax, namely FATCA, Transaction Tax, Final Withholding Tax and/or European Withholding Tax
- Company booking systems knowledge
- theoretical understanding and practical experience of use case modelling (UML)
- experience in using tools like JIRA, Polarion, Enterprise Architect 9.x
- background in software development processes/life cycle
