Test Manager - Manchester - 35-45K

My client are a large private sector organisation based in central Manchester. They have a very large IT department and they are currently looking to employ an experienced test manager to help re-align the testing strategy for the entire IT department. This will involve extensive project work and initial responsibility for the testing of a major ERP system upgrade.

The successful candidate will be able to:

- Demonstrate added value and/or reduced costs through the development of a new comprehensive testing strategy
- Develop and manage the full end-to-end testing plan for strategic projects including unit testing, scenario testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Lead and manage the test strategy to embed into the release procedure for all changes to future strategic application development

Required Skills:
- Hands-on testing skills (manual or automated)
- Experience of testing strategies and methodologies
- Have experience working with ERP Systems & Applications
- Demonstrate ability to analyse end-user requirements and deliver solutions

Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Applications, Oracle Financials
- Knowledge of Oracle Application Testing Suite
