Test Manager/Analyst

One of our Major clients is looking for a TEST MANAGER/ANALYST for a 6-412 month contract in Brussels, Belgium. The ideal start is July 2018. Please get in touch if are interested and able to make yourself available for July 2018.

The TEST MANAGER/ANALYST will be responsible for the following;

TEST MANAGEMENT:

- Test approach of your project in close cooperation with the business team, architects, experts and the project leader
- Plan the test activity of the project and write the project test plan
- Evaluate the necessary test effort to comply with the test strategy
- Report on the progress, the issues and the risks to the project leader and other stakeholders
- Check the evolution of the defects in the defect tools.
- Implement process Improvements that have been validated during the Test Team Meetings
- Participate in the Test Team Meetings

TEST ANALYST:

- Design the technical and functional integration test scripts based on requirements, technical and functional documentation in close collaboration with the architects and analysts
- Use the classical testing methods (B.V. Black Box, White Box)
- Carry out your test cases
- Investigate the causes of the defects that you have found
- Identify the test scenarios that should be added to the test portfolio, you add them and automate them if necessary
- Actively contribute to the preparation and execution of the release regression tests

The TEST MANAGER/ANALYST will have the following:

- Experience as an IT Test Analyst
- Expertise in QA (Quality Assurance) and testing domains
- Ability to keep to the agreed deadlines
- Experienced in managing people to fulfil tasks
- Strong in planning and organization and demonstrate a structured and proactive attitude
- Pragmatic and result-oriented
- Good communication skills (English & French or Dutch)
- Your knowledge of UFT, VSTS and ALM are additional assets
- Preferable to have experience with TMap, ISTQB, test techniques and test scenarios
