Test Manager

The Test Manager will ensure the system development processes are resulting in sound technical solutions to the business and technical requirements.

The Test Manager will:

- be responsible to plan and conduct the requisite methodical testing of a system under development, and the production of the resultant test reports. The tests developed will test how well the system meets the functional requirements and the system or sub-system performance.
- also coordinate and work with a group of technical staff who may be involved in the conduct of the tests. Any defects that they may find are reported to the defect register and may be required to work with technical personnel to re-produce a defect or work through defect findings.

The Test Manager will be required to perform the following activities:

- Coordinate and manage the planning of the system and/or acceptance tests within a development or integration environment.
- Takes responsibility for integrity of testing and acceptance activities and coordinate the execution of these activities.
- Provide authoritative advice and guidance on any aspect of test planning and execution.
- Define and communicate the test strategy for the various components of the project to undergo tests.
- Manage, develop and assist in the conduct of all test processes, test plans, test deliverables and requirements traceability.
- Identifies process improvements, and contributes to corporate testing standards.
- Conduct tests and compile test reports on applications.
- Build and sustain professional relationships with team members and participate in team work and group
- Provide reports on the status and progress with allocated work activities.
