Test Manager

- ACT LOCATION
- 9 MONTHS CONTRACT WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSION

DUTIES

- Managing and promoting a standardised testing process across all Departmental/Agency IT Projects;
- Implementing and tracking the suite of testing deliverables;
- Providing an escalation point for the testing issues and risks, and project issues and risks impacting on the testing process;
- Providing accurate and timely executive level reports;
- Work with the Program Test Managers and Project Architect to identify and document dependencies;
- Conduct detailed Test Planning activities;
- Tester resourcing co-ordination for projects;
- Ongoing training needs identification of testing staff, including running in-house training on a variety of topics;
- User Acceptance Testing co-ordination assistance and support;
- Performance (Load/Stress/Volume) testing co-ordination;
- Test Automation services and activities co-ordination;
- Security Penetration testing co-ordination;
- Business and Production Verification activities co-ordination
- Input into Program-level reporting;
- Test progress reporting by sub-program and project;
- Participate in the development and maintenance of the Testing-related documentation suite;
- Product Quality Assurance;
- Participate in Program [Release] start-up activities;
- Risks and Issues Management; and
- Undertake manual testing

EXPERIENCE

- Demonstrated experience (minimum 4 continuous years) as a Test Manager;
- Demonstrated high level of analytical and problem solving skills;
- Demonstrated experience in planning and co-ordinating testing activities for several test teams concurrently; and
- Professional testing accreditation is preferred.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN A SECURITY CLEARANCE; therefore, applicants will be required to be Australian citizens
