The Role of Test Lead/Manager is to effectively lead the entire testing team. The test lead must take ownership for system testing and environments management activities. To fulfil this role the Lead must understand the discipline of testing and how to effectively implement test methodology and processes while fulfilling the traditional leadership roles of a manager. This involves creating a test infrastructure that supports robust communication and a cost effective testing framework. 

The Test Lead/Manager is responsible for: 
- Defining and implementing the role testing plays within the organizational structure. 
- Defining the scope of testing within the context of each and every release/delivery. 
- Driving forward the company test strategy 
- Deploying and managing the appropriate testing framework to meet the testing mandate 
- Implementing and evolving appropriate measurements and metrics 
- Taking ownership of system, integration and unit testing and environments activities in an AGILE environments 
- Execution of manual testing on all applications from the earliest opportunity with rigor and precision before any application goes live 
- Communicate all testing issues effectively and execute procedures in order to arrive at the appropriate fix 
- Planning and managing the daily workload of testers and ensure appropriate testing resources and tools are available 
- Analysis and creation of formal documentation -including project test plans and reports 

Qualifications: 
- 10+ years' experience in various phases of testing, designing, and developing complex enterprise environments 
- Proven capability in test methodology, automation, and test processes 
- Strong Object Oriented programming, debugging, and test automation skills with C#, C/C++, and/or Java 
- Excellent knowledge of Web Services, WCF, SOA, XML, SOAP, and .NET technology 
- Ability to perform system-wide root cause analyses and drive improvements 
- Ability to influence and drive quality across teams, across disciplines, and across organizations 
- Experience managing new and existing cross-group partnerships with business clients 
- Engage with customers as needed and provide guidance, review designs, or help isolate problems 
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
- Manage the delivery of high quality software releases within budget and on schedule 

Education: Required BA/BS in Computer Science; Certifications in HP Quality Center and/or a Certified Software Test Engineer desired.
