We are looking for a "TEST LEAD/SNR TESTER" TO START ASAP A 180 DAYS initial contract in THE HAGUE (EU-Org'-client). The consultant will be using several testing tools including HP QUALITY CENTER

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Test Analyst, to offer his/her services within a renowned European Institution in The Hague, The Netherlands (EN-speaking environment), the perspective is multiple-years.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

The consultant will perform the following tasks/services:

- Taking the lead and advising on the test analysis, design and execution of specific parts related to a new client functionality, as well as performing automated regression testing (including functional and technical testing) based on the existing Solution specifications and the high level technical architecture. Consultant will be using several testing tools including HP Quality Center
- Design, code and execute new automated tests based on C#/Selenium Web driver triggered by continuous integration of builds;
- Maintain code of/execute existing automated tests based on HP Unified Functional Testing;
- Design and execute manual test scripts of the Solution;
- Design and execute performance test scripts (Visual Studio Load tests);
- Creating representative test data for the Solution.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

A University degree with minimum of 7 years of experience in IT;

The experience MUST cover all areas listed below, as follows:

Ø Minimum of 5 years of experience in conducting functional testing of web applications;

Ø Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing, coding and executing automated tests using tools, such as HP Unified Functional testing (QuickTest Professional) or Selenium WebDriver;

Ø Minimum of 6 months of experience in test planning and test management;

Ø Minimum of 6 months of experience in conducting functional testing of web services;

Ø Minimum 6 months of experience in conducting performance testing of web applications/services;

Ø Knowledge of testing on various test levels using a variety of test types;

Ø Knowledge of test design/execution using one of the following test design techniques: Specification-based (or behaviour-based or Black Box); Structure-based (or White Box); Defect-based, Experience-based;

Ø Knowledge of how to determine suitable test approaches, compose suitable Test Documentation, define suitable acceptance criteria, review structurally work products from other teams;

DESIRABLE knowledge:

Ø Knowledge of how to design, code and execute functional automated regression tests using HP Unified Functional Testing (QuickTest Professional);

Ø Knowledge of how to design, code and execute functional automated regression tests using the Selenium WebDriver in a continuous integration environment;

Ø Knowledge of how to conduct performance testing of web applications/services;

Ø Knowledge of ISEB/ISTQB1 terminology, (demonstrated by passing the relevant certification exam(s);

Ø Knowledge of test management, planning, test metrics and estimations;

Ø Knowledge of testing the following Software Quality Characteristics: Functionality, Technical Security, Usability, Efficiency, Reliability

Fluent language skills in English, both written and spoken (B2);

Candidates holding a valid certificate of good conduct or better, a security clearance, will be highly appreciated.
