Test Lead Job

TEST LEAD needed for a one year CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Ramon, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Must have recent Java automation/Selenium experience. Overall three (3) years

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Create test strategy and test plan for manual and automated testing of a 3 tier web application while adhering to verification and validation standards and industry best practices.
- Participate in manual testing of the application and create automated test cases for the application.
- Drive the offshore(India) team during manual and automated testing of the application.
- Perform test plan reviews, test case reviews, automation code reviews, and test result reviews with offshore team to ensure superior quality of software.
- Work with onshore (US) team for continuous deployment and support of the web software. The support involves manual and automated testing of fixes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five (5) years experience in manually testing full stack (Front End, Middleware, Back End) of the application using Black Box and White Box approaches.
- Three (3) years experience in creating automated test cases for the application using Selenium, JBehave, SpecFlow etc.
- Three (3) years experience in creating test strategy, test plans, test cases and test summary reports.
- Domain: three (3) years experience in commercial software testing for Healthcare/Medical devices is required. Experience with testing HIPAA and HL7 is required.
- Internationalization: three (3) years experience in testing internationalization of software is required.
- On shore-off shore model: three (3) years experience in working with off shore teams is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required.
