Test Lead - Automation Testing

We are looking for Automation Test Lead consultants for a 3-6 months project in Zurich.

Test Lead - Automation Testing
Switzerland, Zurich
3-6 months contract

As Automation Test Lead you will have/will be/will possess the following:

A strong development background (preferably with good Java skills) and a strong Test Automation background (preferably with Selenium and/or WebTest)
Prepare the Software Test Plan.
Check/Review the Test Cases document. System, Integration and User Acceptance prepared by test engineers.
Analyze requirements during the requirements analysis phase of projects. Arrange the Hardware and software requirement for the Test Setup.
Develop and implement test plans.
Escalate the issues about project requirements (Software, Hardware, Resources) Review weekly Testers status reports and take necessary actions
Escalate Testers issues to the Test Lead.
Enforce the adherence to the company's Quality processes and procedures

Web Testing(L3)-
Should have good knowledge & concepts of UI validations, GUI features etc.
Concepts of Globalisation and Localization testing will be an added advantage

Application Testing(L3)-
Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like Unit Integration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing and should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases.
Should understand Test Plans, Requirement Trace ability Matrix, Orthogonal Array Tool.
Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliability analysis effectively with DFA tool.

Test Automation(L3)-
Should be capable to understand the underlying technology on the various automation tools.
Should be capable to evaluate the best tool to the client.
Should be capable to create the required automation framework to the client.

Test Automation(L2)-
Should be able to differentiate the various test automation frameworks in the market and their applicability to the AUT.
Should understand the service offerings from Automation practice and leverage on the same, if required.
Should have awareness on the various testing tools tools related certifications available in the market to improve the competency.
Should be able to work on QTP and understands the overview on QTP as test automation tool - features, performance and usage.

QTP(L2)-
Able to automate with coding and embedding logic to achieve validations using VB programming.
Should be able to add synchronization points where the different actions are synchronized.
Should be able to recognize the dynamic object property changes and using descriptive programming effectively.
Should be able to perform code debugging and unit testing.
Should be able to design data table and parameterization for multiple set of data input.
Should be able to configure tool with databases like oracle and MS SQL server.
