Test Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION:
(1) Manage all project test phases and testing activities (including leads and testers from all functional areas of testing), as applicable, including Test Estimates, Unit, Integration and System Testing, and Performance, Load and Stress Testing, and User Acceptance testing.
(2) Review requirements, business and system use cases, technical specifications, test plans, test summary and testing deliverables provided to or by the testing team.
(3) Develop the Requirements Ambiguity review.
(4) Develop and complete the Test Strategy and Test Plan.
(5) Coordinate the identification of Test data needs and timely test data preparation.
(6) Coordinate with the Test Manager, Solution Architect and Technical Lead to manage the test environments.
(7) Ensure the Test Cases and Test Scripts required to test all system interfaces are completed by assigned personnel on the testing team according to the project schedule.
(8) Lead the activities of the testing team for Systems testing, Performance testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
(9) Work with StandardsTFS; Web and UI Testing; SOA/EIA layer.
(4) Must have successfully delivered a medium-large project (complexity and dollars).
(5) Led a small group of testers (organized and assigned work).
(6) Understands and can produce testing analytics created through Quality Center.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND TRAITS:
(1) Experience testing Web Services or Applications Containing/Using Web Services.
(2) Excellent Time Management Skills.
(3) A background interfacing with users in Business Acceptance and User Acceptance Testing.
(4) Familiarity and experience working with various SDLC methodologies and participating in all aspects of project life cycles.
(5) Web Services and API, XML, ETL, Billing Systems (Print, storage).

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
(1) Certification in Software Testing.
(2) Electric Utility industry experience. Degree needed: Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Information Technology or closely related disciplines.
