TEST LEAD
LOCATION: Dublin
RATE: Dependant on experience
DURATION: 4 months
JOB TYPE: Contract
THE ROLE
I am currently seeking a Test Lead for my client in Dublin. The successful candidate will be working in an agile/scrum development methodology. My client is looking for someone who will proactively engage with all team members including developers, business users and business analysts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review user and functional requirements and provide feedback
- Ad hoc test early versions of functionality
- Review scripts created by others
- Participate in test execution and monitor the progress of tests executed
- Manage test activities (resource/cost/schedule/metrics)
- Direct the work of test analysts and testers
- Use agile planning and effort methods to estimate taks and create schedules
- Lead up to a team of 6 analysts- and be a mentor
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Proven experience of all of the above
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience on projects through full project life cycle
- Exposure to agile practices such as Scrum/XP
- Communication skills
- Understanding of technology and development language concepts
