Test Laboratory Assistant/Laboratory Test Technician (Maternity Cover)

If you have a technical background and experience in packaging or healthcare then this Test Laboratory Assistant role would be ideal for you.

THE CANDIDATE

- HNC/HND qualification in a technical discipline or A level equivalent
- Experience in conducting testing in a laboratory environment would be desirable
- Good MS Office skills
- Excellent organisation skills and successfully manage several projects simultaneously
- Display attention to detail
- Work well in a team and with a wide range of people
- Be well presented with a professional manner
- Be able to plan own workload, meet targets and work to deadlines and work under pressure

THE ROLE:

You will assist the team in the day to day testing and qualification of temperature controlled packaging. You will conduct product testing using data logging equipment and test chambers and maintain test records on the relevant database and reports. You will make up test materials, complete checks and other laboratory administration duties. You will also be responsible for laboratory housekeeping and other office administration.
