Test Engineer/Manager, Banking (Contract, Zurich)

On behalf of our client, one of the most recognizable banking brands worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for a dynamic and motivated Test Engineer/Manager with experience in the banking industry and knowledge of investment products for a 6 month contract with a strong chance of extension.

TEST ENGINEER/MANAGER, BANKING (CONTRACT, ZURICH)

The start date for this role would be February 2015.

Job Responsibilities:

- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
- Design functional and regression test cases.
- Execute test cases.
- Document software defects, using Quality Center, and report defects to software developers
- Retest defects

Skills:

- Very good knowhow in investment products is a must have
- Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Knowledge of Mainframe or host systems mandatory
- Knowledge of SQL queries
- Knowledge of Quality Center
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Good mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
- Scrum knowledge would be a plus
