Test Engineer III - Telco

Yoh has an excellent contract opportunity for a TEST ENGINEER III - TELCO to join our client in Palm Bay, FL.

POSSESSION OF OR THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN AN FAA SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verify and maintain mission critical communication systems for large-scale satellite telecommunications system. Understand test cycle, system requirements, and traceability.
- Develop and clearly write detailed test plans, test procedures, and test result documents.
- Execute dry-run and formal test procedures.
- Assess system performance against stated requirements.

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with focus on Software, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Network Technology.
- Five (5) years of Engineering experience with at least two (2) years in Systems Integration and Test.
- Experience with network management software, CodeMettle, Clearcase, ClearQuest.

Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience in testing telecommunication Systems.
- Experience using Scripting languages and test automation software.
- Experience working with agile development teams.
- Working knowledge of Linux environment.
- Ability to participate in problem-solving and in the defect resolution process.
- Ability to work individually and in teams.
