Test Engineer contract in ANTWERP (Belgium)
6 months initial + long-term extension

The role
You will be working in a team on the development and operation of administrative software applications. You will report to the scrum master and work closely with functional analysts and developers.

Responsibilities include:
- Identify the test cases from the applications, create, maintain and adopt, in cooperation with the development teams
- Testing code in an agile development process: functional, regression, integration, load and stress testing...
- The knowledge parts associated with activities (creation of test cases, the test plan, test suites, ...)
- To communicate with the development team on how to evolve the quality of their projects
- Identify the documentation and preparation that is useful to manage the knowledge of the team

Skills/experience required:
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a computer-direction, or equivalent experience.
* At least 3 to 5 years' experience in writing and executing test scenarios based on a learned analysis.
* Experience in Agile development/testing
* Experience in testing web services/interfaces
* Technical testing skills: SQL, Scripting
* Atlassian toolset: JIRA, Confluence
* Knowledge of testing tools such as SoapUI, JMeter, Selenium, ...
* Very good knowledge of test management tools, test design techniques.
* Knowledge of different testing techniques/methods: functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, performance testing.
