Test Engineer

For one of my clients I'm looking for a Software Testing Engineer as part of an Agile/Scrum team developing two core capacities for JewelSuite Subsurface Modeling Software:

- OpenInventor enabling framework
- Geodetics integrity service

Start: asap - 1 November

Location: The Hague

Length of project: First contract till the end of the year, hereafter long term project.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop and execute test cases systematically for applications under test using Microsoft Test Manager Application.
- Ensure developed solutions meet the acceptance criteria set in current requirements and product backlog items.
- Investigate and raise defects providing prompt feedback to developers
- Verify defect fixes
- Develop and maintain automated tests using SmartBear Test Complete automation framework to support efficient regression testing.
- Configure and maintain test environments in Microsoft Lab Centre for manual and automated testing.
- Setup and execute functional and non-functional tests
- Document and report test results in a timely manner using Microsoft Team Foundation System (TFS)
- Align with PDS quality assurance standards to evaluate current processes and propose simple and effective improvements

Skills

- Bachelors or Master degree in Computer Science or similar field
- 2+ years of recent practical experience with software testing
- In-depth understanding of software testing processes
- Proven experience in test automation using either Test Complete, SpecFlow, Cucumber, or similar
