Test Engineer

Interesting TEST ENGINEER contract opportunity at a highly regarded firm in Milwaukee, WI. Project 2 year assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support troubleshooting of Agilent 3070 In-Circuit Test programs and test fixtures for manufacturing of electronic industrial control products
- Work closely with other lead test engineers in a cross functional team environment

REQUIREMENTS

- High School or equivalent, A PLUS to have BSEE, BSEET, BSEE; Bachelor's degree in electronics or electrical engineering
- Minimum 2 to 5+ years experience in Test Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing Test roles
- Experience with programming Agilent-3070 In-Circuit Test systems
- Experience in the design and operation of spring-probe test fixtures
- Ability to create, read, and interpret printed circuit board schematics
- Knowledge of electronic hardware design processes and mechanical design concepts
- Knowledge of software development and revision control environments and processes
- Ability to troubleshoot, root cause problems involving both hardware & software
- A PLUS to have familiarity with ANY of (a) electronic assembly equipment & processes (SMT & WAVE), (b) manufacturing inspection and/or technologies and processes, (c) PCB workmanship standards, solder qualification, or (d) Lean 6-Sigma tools
