Test Director

Duties:
Direct test planning, design and tools selection;
Establish guidelines for test procedures and reports;
Co-ordinate with the Purchaser on test support requirements; and
Manage the Contractor test resources.

The Test Director shall be responsible, on behalf of the Contractor, for defining the test plans, test
procedures, executing or monitoring, and producing the test reports for the following test instances:
o PoC Testing at the PoC platform
o Provisional Site Acceptance Testing (PSAT) at each site
o Final System Acceptance Testing(FSAT), network wide
The Test Director shall act as Requirements and Test Case Manager.
The Test Director shall be the single Point of Contract to the Purchaser on all DOORS and Test Case Management tool - related matters The Test Director shall accredit experience in using DOORS and the Contractor's selected Test Case Management tool.

Essential Skills and Experience:
The Test Director skills shall be aligned with the following skill sets with minimum proven 5 years of experience in similar effort

Data Analysis:
o Experience in Investigation of corporate data requirements, and application of data analysis, Datamodelling and quality assurance techniques, to establish, modify or maintain data structures and their associated components (entity descriptions, relationship descriptions, attribute definitions).
o Experience in Providing advice and guidance to database designers and others using the data structures and associated components.

Systems Design:
o Experience in designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs.
o Experience in delivery of technical visualisation of proposed applications for approval by customer and execution by system developers.
o Experience in translation logical designs into physical designs, and producing detailed design documentation.
o Experience with user specification and removing errors and deviations from specification to achieve user-friendly processes.

Network Design:
o Experience in Producing outline system designs and specifications, and overall architectures, topologies, configuration databases and design documentation of networks and networking technology within the organisation.
