Test Consultant - Oracle DB/SAS

The challenge:

ART (Asset Risk Technology) is the Asset Risk system providing information on all investments on the Client balance sheet through a high performance Datawarehouse with a powerful analysis and reporting layer (SAS). ART will be a critical enabler for Solvency II (SII) as it performs part of the SII risk calculations and will provide most of the asset data required for SII reporting. We are currently in a transition stage, from project organization to fully operational.

Your main responsibilities
Together with your testers colleagues you will validate all changes and improvements of the system following the DTAP life cycle. The underlying technology is based on the SAS Risk Management for Insurance (SAS foundation 9.2) with a Back End Oracle 11g release 2 database. All our environments run on Linux RHEL.
Understand and translate functional requirements into automated test scripts/scenarios. Formulate goals, limits and
timelines for the testing activities.
Estimate of the required resources.
Consult program managers and project leaders about requirements to assure the quality of their deliverables.
Prepare and co-ordinates the opening of test accounts within relevant departments and colleagues.

Role requirements
Good knowledge of HP Application Lifecycle Management (Formerly Quality Center)
Proven experience in automated testing, preferably with QTP
Proven experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle
Good communication skills
Fluent command of the English language, both written and verbally
