Test Analyst - Federal Government - up to 20mth Contract

A highly regarded Federal Government department based in Canberra is looking to engage an experienced TEST ANALYST to join their ICT team. The is a highly sought after 8 month contract commencing immediately with a rewarding hourly rate on offer and possible extension of up to 12 months.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

- Produce test strategies, plans, cases and summary reports associated with baseline, migration and acceptance testing of all applications being migrated to a virtual platform and application being migrated to physical platform.
- Produce test strategies, plans, cases and summary reports associated with establishing a business resumption site in line with the requirements specified in the Business Continuity Plan.
- Communicate with network, system and application developers, test team and the Test Manager regarding the stability of, and changes to the applications software, network components and IT infrastructure undergoing testing.
- Track resolution of issues identified during testing and prioritise in conjunction with application and facility owners.
- Develop and execute test scripts.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

- Minimum 5 years experience working as a tester or working in a test environment
- ISTQB Foundation Certificate (Highly Desirable)
- Experience with SOE infrastructure testing
