Test Analyst DWH/BI

Classification criteria/Scope of the Role

Your primary working area is the testing of applications against expectations in a single functional domain.

You test software by investigating and questioning the product in order to evaluate it with a solid understanding of business, systems and requirements. You are creative when looking for solutions and see yourself as a part of a team where testing is an integral part of software development. Testing to you is not just a phase in a project, but a means to improve the overall quality of the project's deliverables and to reach the business partner's acceptance criteria. You proactively collaborate with your project team to automate tests where feasible and provide useful information on the quality of the test object(s) and the status of testing activities.

Test (iteration) plans and/or input on testing activities for project plans are important deliverables. You come up with constructive suggestions for handling quality, time and/or budget issues and take corrective actions when and where necessary. You coordinate testing activities for all necessary test levels and make sure that a test environment(s) is/are set up and properly configured. The issue management process is also one of your responsibilities, just as the reporting towards project managers and business representatives.

You provide and apply test principles and procedures to the relevant stakeholders to be followed during the development cycle. Continuously developing your knowledge of the test profession and business domain for you is self-evident. You are an ambassador for the test practice. You continuously work to be familiar with, and to increase knowledge of agile practices.

Job requirements
* Minimally two years experience in testing
* Bachelor or Master degree in ICT or Economics and/or able to demonstrate a clear affinity with ICT and an interest in wholesale banking.

Methods & techniques
* We have adopted Agile as the software development methodology.
*Certification as either ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or TMap Next Test Engineer is required.
* You should be familiar with Context-driven and Exploratory Testing, and have knowledge of and affinity with test automation.
* Besides that, knowledge of and experience with test (management) tools and project management methodologies like Prince2 are required.

Must haves:
* Kennis/Ervaring met TDD/ATDD.
* Ervaring met keten testen in een zeer technische omgeving.
* SQL kennis, DB queries.
* DWH/BI kennis.
