- Producing test plans and ensuring they are followed
- Assigning work to QA analysts
- Manage and represent QA team for a given project
- Automating tests where appropriate
- Producing and prioritizing bug reports
- Working with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis
- Process improvement, KPI or configuration management
- Non-functional testing
- Tools expert
- Demonstrable experience of Quality Assurance processes
- Some understanding of systems in a financial services environment
