Test Analyst £35-45k Heart of London

I am currently recruiting for a Test Analyst. This position is based in the heart of the City in London and is for a global leading software house. Salary £35-42k Role: *Test the validity of all elements of product development, including: requirements, code and user documentation. *Plan QA methods to cover: functionality, usability, security, and performance. *Estimate the time and resources required and then deliver within the agreed plan. *Design and perform: unit, integration, system and regression testing. *Report findings and recommendations to the programmers, working with them to produce agreed solutions to a high quality. *Analyse the client's business requirements, and map these to viable solutions within the software. *Produce user and technical documentation. *Internal presentation of product functions to staff. *Participation in a duty rota to act as the primary contact point for all ad-hoc technical support and other enquiries received by the Development Department. *The role has a strong customer focus, be it internal or external (existing or prospective customers). Hence, the job holder will work closely with other members of the department, and other Company staff. On occasion, the job holder will also need to communicate with clients. Desirable skills and experience *Experience in user acceptance / system testing *Exposure to automatic test products *Understanding of the development and testing lifecycles *ISEB qualification *Experience in the facilities management industry *Experience of Windows based products: Word, Excel etc *Basic understanding of Web based technologies
