Test Analyst

Test Analyst/Automation/Regression/Java/SQL/Cumcumber/LDAP/Security

We are currently searching for a Senior Test Analyst to be responsible for communicating and coordinating with the delivery team and functional stakeholders of the organization, understanding their requirements, developing suitable and appropriate positive and negative tests and converting those into an automated functional and regression testing framework and capability. The ideal candidate will be very familiar with the Security functions (authentications/authorizations) related to (web) applications and services, as well as with the types of data, interfaces technical considerations that relate to these functions. You have expert experience in test automation tooling and techniques, as well as knowledge of Databases, SQL, LDAP and SOAPUI, Java, Cucumber and other similar components. You are an excellent communicator, detailed in your analysis and documentation, have attention for detail, and work comfortably on technically intricate software components with the relevant developers and business analysts. You are self-guided, very experienced in working according to the Agile project methodology, and an excellent team player.

Activities:
* Confirm with the technical and functional stakeholders the technical functional requirements that the to-be-delivered software needs to fulfil
* Construct suitable test cases for confirming that the code built fulfils the required functional and technical features
* Convert a backlog of the above into an automated functional acceptance testing framework, and an automated regression testing framework
* Proactively look for opportunities to simplify processes, structures and designs
* Participate and lead team activities relating to estimations of work, planning and resolution of open items

Experience required:
* Extensive experience as a test automation analyst, translating functional and technical specifications into test cases and automated testing frameworks (6+ years). This would include experience with automating regression testing and functional testing, for both web services and other technical software components;
* Extensive experience in test coordination, continuous integration, chain testing, and communication of test results to technical and functional stakeholders;
* Good knowledge of SQL, LDAP, Web Services, Java, Javascript HTML and Cucumber or SpecFlow;
* Experience with Back End testing and continuous integration of testing;
* Knowledgeable in the area of agile software development techniques, preferably Scrum;
