Test Analyst

SolTech, an Industry leading Technology Firm is looking for a Test Analyst to join a talented team of Developers and Analysts. The Test Analyst must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, while taking on a variety of testing efforts for an enterprise level credit/transaction based system.

Responsibilities:

- Work with the development team, analysing test requirements, creating and documenting test plans/cases in a structured and reusable format
- Execute component tests, system tests, integration tests, regression tests, performance tests, end-to-end tests and user acceptance tests in accordance with agreed test cases and test plans
- Record bugs and following up to resolution
- Accurate reporting of test progress, risks & issues
- Assist in improvement of testing processes

Qualifications: 

- Accuracy and attention to detail is critical
- Strong interpersonal skills and good written and verbal communication skill
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Ability to work well with other organizations in a team environment.
- 3+ years experience with SSIS and SSRS - SSAS proficiency a plus
- Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio development IDE for database and data comparison, ETL and test data generation
- Exposure to Data Warehouse/BI tools/SQL and related technologies a plus
- Experience in Transact SQL development, especially in stored procedure and views
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence concepts, practices, and procedures a plus
- Experience with large transaction processing systems a plus
