Terrain Mapping Software Developer

DESCRIPTION:
This position is on the very exciting and technically challenging Automation Systems Development team. This team is responsible for developing and demonstrating automation technologies, which are often used in conjunction with information systems, and remote control systems. The selected candidate will focus on the development of C++ software development for mining applications. Potential travel.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
. BS or MS in Computer Engineering with 2+ years post graduate experience
. 5+ years of experience with C++ development
. 1+ years of experience in modelling and simulation focused on 3D visualization content development
. Experience with 3D Mapping Software
. Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) datasets
. Basic Linux experience
. Strong mathematical background
. Good Communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills/Qualifications:
. Experience with perception hardware/algorithms
. Experience with computer vision software implementation
. Experience with image processing software implementation
. Experience with GIT for software source code management
