For our client, we are currently looking for a Teradata Performance Analyst
KEY SKILLS:
- Teradata Database Tuning
The Performance Analyst is responsible for delivering performance services that include performance data collection, data analysis, customer interaction and influencing, and recommendation delivery.
Responsibilities:
The Performance Analyst is responsible for the following:
Collect and analyze appropriate performance data from customer systems using Teradata Performance Monitor and Production Control (PMPC) tools with special attention to standards for privacy and security of customer data.
Present recommendations and findings to the customer and account teams.
Review code for performance during development and consult with developers on performance tuning.
Review the physical data model for performance and consult with data modelers on performance tuning.
Review configuration parameters for performance and consult with the Database Administrator on performance tuning.
Identify poorly performing queries in production and consult with developers to resolve.
