Teradata Developer

My client, one of Irelands leading financial services, has an immediate opening for a TERADATA DW DEVELOPER to join their team on a number of exciting and challenging projects.

RESPONSIBILTIES

- Investigating requirements, producing specifications and designing, developing and implementing Information solutions following development standards
-Providing expertise in Database Design especially Relational
- Developing, executing and documenting Unit and Integration tests to ensure code is delivered to specification.
- Supporting execution of System Testing and User Acceptance Testing including when necessary preparation of required environments.
- Achieving highly efficient performance in all solutions
- Implementing solutions to the live environment adhering strictly to standards.

REQUIREMENTS

- Experience/knowledge Teradata coding
- High standard of both SQL writing and SQL Interpretation
- Solid experience of analysing, understanding and manipulating data.
- Refreshed the data by using fastexport and fastload utilities
- Experience writing and executing detailed test plans including Integration and Regression testing
- Experience recommending new tools and processes to ensure quality
- Strong Teradata experience (minimum 3+ years)
