Teradata Database Administrator
My client is an internationally established Financial Company and is looking for a talented Teradata Database Administrator to support all database administration activities for various environments in our costumers Data Warehouse located in Sweden, Stockholm.
Required skills:
At least 3+ years experience of Teradata database administration required.
Ensures the Teradata database environment is highly available
Provides technical leadership in designing and implementing Teradata database solutions.
Provides SQL expertise in query performance tuning and data base enhancements.
Provide support in database design and application development.
Support Application DBA tasks (such as database design, development, testing, and production installation) during application development.
Research and implement new database technologies to enhance existing database infrastructure (knowledge of Aster and/or Hadoop is a plus).
Develop, implement, and maintain DBA policies, procedures, and manuals. Implement security model according to the compliance requirements.
Participate in rotating 24x7 support for all DFS Teradata production databases and interface with Teradata corporation for additional technical support.
Provide team leadership.
Location: Sweden, Stockholm
Contract: 12 Months plus extension prospects.
