Temporary Accounting Assistant I/Accounts Payable

This position is located in Danvers, MA.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable professional with strong attention to detail, ability to effectively manage time, and efficiently handle a fast paced workload. Candidate will be interested in building strong collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

Review and process invoices in SAP using dual monitors and electronic images.

Collaborate with purchasing, requisitioners, and receiving to resolve holds on a timely basis.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of EDI interfaces both in and out of SAP AP.

Maintain SOX controls and other internal processes and procedures.

Qualifications

High School diploma required, minimum 2 years relevant experience required. AS desirable.

General knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Excellent data entry skills.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to manage deadlines and deliverables.

Strong customer service expertise.

Ability/experience working with employees at all levels in the organization and across all functions.

This position is a temporary position lasting at least 3 months. The selected candidate will receive payroll through an agency.
