Telecommunications Strategy Specialist

For one of our clients, we are looking for Telecommunications Strategy specialist that would be engaged on large project inside railway industry. Position is located in Oslo, Norway. You will be responsible for defining the extent, depth and outlay of the company's strategy and business plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identifying technological and commercial developments/trends in the telecommunications industry and interpreting the information to support strategic decision-making
- Carry out robust research and analysis to gain the key insights required to help shape the development and communication of the company's strategy
- Contribute towards monitoring performance of the company's strategic projects
- Carry out economic assessments and provide inputs to further improve company's strategy
- Provide suggestions regarding implementation and control of relevant company's processes

REQUIRED EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE:

- Knowledge of telecommunications technology trends and development
- Knowledge of preparation of business plans for telecommunications
- Knowledge of economic assessments for telecommunications
- Knowledge of implementing processes
- Experience with telecommunications infrastructure, including radio network

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge of telecommunications associated with railway operations
- Knowledge of some Scandinavian language
