Telecom & Technical Support Technician Job

TECHNICAL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Bullfrog, Utah, near Blanding, UT.

Top Skills Should You Possess:
- POS System Support
- Desktop and Laptop Support
- PBX and Telecom Systems

What You'll Be Doing:
- Responsible for proactive support and maintenance around POS systems.
- Responsible for proactive support and maintenance around desktops and laptops support.
- Provide technical support around wireless and cabled infrastructures.
- Provide technical support around PBX systems and overall telecom systems.
- Provide answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and taking corrective action.
- Improve system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.
- Monitors support issues, ensures resolution plans and reports progress to management.
- Proactively maintains systems and executes preventative maintenance plans. Monitors system status and reacts to issues as they arise.
- Work with users to define and evaluate business needs, challenges and inefficiencies that may be resolved through automated solutions.
- Communicates with site users regarding any system enhancements and or scheduled upgrades.
- Participate in technical and functional training classes as necessary or required.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Problem Solving, LAN knowledge, PC Proficiency, PBX and Telecom, Verbal communication, and phone skills are a must.
- Must be willing to travel up to 30% and work a flexible schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays.
- Strong analysis, organization, communications, interpersonal skills and troubleshooting skills are essential.

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of experience in IT/Telecom support role
- Experience in Hospitality industry preferred
- Industry related Certification a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in an IT or related field preferred
- Technical support experience in a Hospitality environment is desired.
- Experience with hospitality customer technologies is preferred.
