Telecom Sourcing - Senior Consultant (m/f)

-Lead/participate in cross-functional teams to develop sourcing strategies to address global saving opportunities
-Review and aligns local sourcing strategies against global Telecom sourcing strategies
-Execute sourcing strategies to realise the agreed business objectives and benefits. Manage complex sourcing deals, supporting supplier selection and the negotiation process for sourcing events
-Provide input for compilation of annual and medium-term plans, in collaboration with clients and colleagues ensuring savings are built into budgets and the annual operating plan
-Support the identification of specific sourcing projects/initiatives for the year including expected savings, resource requirements and associated timescales for completion. Focuses on rationalising the vendor base for a specified category
-Support the delivery of strategies to extract supply-side savings and manage demand-side consumption, in order to lower the Total Cost of Ownership for external spend as it relates to the specified category
-Develop strong, productive working relationships with clients. Build and maintain a robust understanding of the client's business strategy, key drivers and current issues to inform the development of product/service implementation strategies that will meet client needs
-Build and maintain diverse, productive relationships. Collaborate with colleagues and influences activities to achieve positive outcomes in the interests of the wider business
-Highlight operational, regulatory and other risks to the Senior Sourcing Manager and Head of Category.
-Take ownership for sourcing issues and actively participate in their resolution
-Collaborate with Service Delivery Management and VendorVoice services, Data services and Managed Services
-Experience in managing complex sourcing projects in a specified category. Strong experience in commercial negotiations
-Successful multi-year track record in a sourcing or a vendor management organisation
-Experience in working in the Financial Services/Management industry
-Strong team player, able to work in virtual, global teams in a dual reporting matrix organisation
-Excellent relationship management, analytical, problem solving, financial management, strategic agility, communication, influencing and presentation skills
-Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written and verbal). In addition, German language would be an advantage in this role
-Strong business planning skills
-High energy with the ability to work in a fast-paced business environment
-Exposure to a broad range of client groups and business challenges
