Projektbeschreibung

You are a team member of the VNMC (Voice Network Management Center). This team consists of skilled telecom technicians who are responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the telephony network. The telephony network consists of around 70 networked HiPath 4000 systems, located in Brussels, Luxemburg, Strasbourg and Dublin.

Working at the VNMC requires you to:

- Speak English and French fluently.
- Have a good technical knowledge of telephony.
- You need to have a basic knowledge of how a PABX is built and how cabling is organized. Also, it is important to have a good knowledge of the telephony terminology (hunt group, pickup group, forwarding).
- Have a basic knowledge of IP and how an Ethernet network is working.
- Having knowledge of HiPath 4000 is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Be a team player. Different roles are defined within the team.
- You communicate towards other technicians and towards the incident manager.
- Be aware that you are working in an environment which is constantly measured to meet the agreed SLA's.
- You need to have an analytical mind to be able to detect (future) technical incidents and be able to tackle them.

Place of employment is the center of Brussels. From time to time, you will need to go to another building in Brussels, for example for a break-fix. Going abroad is not needed.
