Technology Lead (m/f)

Our client wants to achieve IFRS16 compliance by April 2017 and therefore have initiated a global IFRS16 program, which sets the boundaries and guides the local implementation project.

Existing processes will have to be amended or retired, while new processes need to be defined to enable IFRS16 compliant internal and external reporting.

During the initial dual reporting phase, directed by the standard, IAS17 & IFRS16 compliant reporting has to be ensured. Thus Legacy processes need to be retained during this period, with the goal of retiring these processes once the dual reporting period is concluded.

Scope:

Team leadership for technical project team
Project planning integrated into global program, tracking and status reporting
Responsible for delivery of end-to-end technical solution to comply with S16 and integration within clients IT environment in time and budget
Define scope and deliverables
Derive objectives from program strategy
Develop plan w/milestones and project organization
Conduct partial plans w/predecessor-successor relations based on information flows
Track progress back and forth
Define and manage resources and tools w/matching capabilities related to project plan
Manage budget planning and forecasting
Manage business case development

Skill set:

Experienced IT Project Manager w/profound knowledge of IT environments (incl. MLB, Comet, ELTIMS, DWH, ETL, SAP all incl. HANA)
Leadership experience in managing multinational teams
Management capabilities to negotiate and align approach with international stakeholders
MS Project
Profound knowledge of IFRS16 processes and key characteristics
In-depth understanding of ERP template projects and experience in managing multinational system integrator teams
