Technical Writer Part Time

Our client is the leading computer manufacturing brand seeking a Part Time Technical Writer to convert training materials/content into their wiki environment. Scope of work will involve interpreting training materials and chunking/synthesizing them into pieces that can easily be learned by users. The goal is to enable self-servable content to our customers in a wiki environment.

Responsibilities to include:

- Maintaining look and feel of wiki in the client environment using HTML/wiki code
- Receiving/interpreting training content
- Chunking/synthesizing the content into appropriate smaller pieces
- Converting content into wiki environment
- Any troubleshooting needed to ensure functionality/permissions in wiki environment
- As needed, develop documentation/instructions for others to be able to repeat steps/process

- Instructional Design
- Ability to learn new material quickly
- Excellent time management skills and ability to scope work in limited time constraints
- Ability to respect established direction of wiki strategy/process
