TECHNICAL WRITER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in CHICAGO, IL.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- At least four years Tech Writing
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio experience
- Adobe Dreamweaver skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The role is within the Business Process Management (BPM) Team, which is responsible for creating/maintaining/improving processes, Services methodology, employee enablement materials, online help, etc
- Focus on updating manuals/screen shots to support a significant UI release
- Help the education department in updating their training materials, as well as making updates to the online help portion of the application
- Work on a combination of technical specs/business process documents
- Research topics, interview subject matter experts
- Author new content, update and edit existing content, create PDFs and online help, and improve processes
- Interact with a range of functional areas and levels
- Main responsibility will work with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Software Developers, QA Developers, and Managers

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 4 years Tech Writing experience
- Experience with tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Dreamweaver
- Must possess solid understanding of software applications and understand the dependencies between processes and systems
- Must demonstrate ability to work autonomously, think critically, solve problems, learn new technologies quickly, and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and sense of collaboration
