Technical Writer Job

TECHNICAL WRITER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in CHARLOTTE, NC.

Please note that this position does not allow for working remotely, as such the incumbent must be able to work onsite in client's location.
Must be currently eligible to work in the US for any employer.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- ITIL knowledge, certification preferred
- Knowledge of IT Operations; Storage, Database, Web, Systems Monitoring, etc.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- This position works with product line managers and subject matter experts to develop and document procedures and documentation to be used across operation teams.
- Documentation includes process details for introducing new services into the environment, testing recoverability of services in the environment, and removing services from the environment.
- Creates IT Operations run books and checklists.
- Provide consistent look and feel across all operational teams and processes.
- Coordinate and interview PLMs and SMEs on various teams for content.
- Communicate and coordinate testing, certification, rollout and training of the new processes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Knowledgeable with ITIL, certification preferred
- Knowledgeable with all aspects of IT operations including but not limited to storage, compute, database, web, and systems management/monitoring.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED or applicable certification or equivalent Work Experience.
