Technical Writer III

Our client in Mountain View, CA is looking for a Technical Writer III for an exciting opportunity. Our client is seeking someone mid to senior level, autonomous writer who can fully understand and articulate the values of our client's products. In this role you'll work independently yet very closely with product engineering and customer teams on internal tools for our clients in the real estate and workplace space. The ideal candidate will need to be able to manage his or her time as well as to appropriately prioritize work. If you have a passion for writing, this may be a great opportunity for you.

As a Technical Writer III will be responsible for:
Write, publish and maintain high quality help content and user interface (UI) messaging.
Manage the production and publishing of documentation.
Collaborate with product and content experts.
Identify and utilize user needs, use cases, and metrics to focus priorities and develop documentation solutions.

Technical Writer III Requirements:

BA/BS degree English, journalism, technical writing or a related field.
Ten years of experience writing documentation in a Web 2.0 production environment, with at least 5 years in product documentation for the web or online publishing.
Very strong writing and editing skills. Must be able to provide writing samples.
Content management systems and/or help tools experience.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS.
Experience working closely with engineering and product management teams as part of the software development process.
