Technical Writer

For one of our client, we are looking for a technical writer with experience with DITA (IBM).

Tasks and responsibilities:

The scope of work is as follows:

1) Be the writer in charge of various documentation updates, authoring according to the best practices and within the agreed docum entation planning

2) Assist the writers during the migration and first usage of the new DITA platform

3) Can assist the team of tech writers to:

.Take over ongoing/smaller XML based documentation deliveries for existing projects/products/services
.Start/continue ongoing projects (take over from other writers)
.Be able to work/improvise and be flexible within boundaries
.Strong quality mindset
.Able to plan and execute own work
.Stress resistant, willing to deliver

4) We are not looking for:

.Information architects that will design information solutions or setup projects
.People to re-engineer or improve our documentation platform, methods or tools
.People to lead the team or coach others

6) Technical requirements:

Near native/fluent English
Writing skills
XML authoring knowledge
DITA experience
