JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL WRITER
JOB LOCATION: GRENOBLE, FRANCE
JOB TYPE: CONTRACT

JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIRED SKILLS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Experience in planning, organizing and authoring User guides, technical User Manuals, Installation Manuals, Service Manuals, Technical Guide, Quick Start Guide, Instruction sheet and Catalogue reference material for target design engineering audience.
Should be a self-starter, and able to take ownership of the documentation needs and work with minimal supervision.
Strong interviewing skills to gather information from SME's, Engineers, and Product Managers.
Experience in authoring tools like Adobe Framemaker (Structured and Unstructured), DTP tools like Adobe Indesign and experience in creating online help.
Determine illustration needs and create illustrations from drawings and diagrams from the Industrial Designers and Mechanical Design departments.
Ability to read and interpret Mechanical and Electromechanical drawings.
Knowledge in handling different review process, and finalizing document release.
French language speaking is preferred.
